Consulting Internship: Summer 2024
More Canvas Consulting seeks Summer interns to serve clients across industries and contribute to the next growth phase of the firm during Summer 2024.
Opportunity to convert to a full time role at the end of Summer 2024 or start of Summer 2025.
Position is remote, with option for in person collaboration at client sites and/or our Headquarters in Princeton, NJ.
Minimum 8 weeks, with option to extend based on schedule and fit. June start date preferred. Position is full-time, with compensation ranging $680 - $800 per week depending on skills shown in tests and interviews.

Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors to support consulting projects. Analyze data and generate meaningful insights to assist in decision-making processes.
Project Support: Assist consultants in project management tasks, including developing project plans, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery of deliverables. Collaborate with team members to contribute to the overall success of client engagements.
Data Collection and Interpretation: Collect, organize, and analyze relevant data using various tools and methodologies. Prepare reports and presentations that effectively communicate findings to both internal and external stakeholders.
Client Interaction: Collaborate with consultants to interact with clients, participate in meetings, and gather client requirements. Maintain professional and responsive communication to address client inquiries and concerns.
Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within the firm and contribute ideas to enhance operational efficiency. Work with the team to implement new strategies or tools that optimize internal workflows.
Learning and Development: Actively participate in training sessions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing activities. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends to expand your professional skill set.

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Management, Economics, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and interpret data effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools.
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities:
Analysis, Creation, Adaptation: Skillfully operate at the intersection of the creative and the quantitative through data analysis, storytelling, visualization and adaptability to the learning styles of clients and collaborators when identifying problems and opportunities, designing solutions, and communicating action plans.
Change Strategy Development: Collaborate with clients to develop comprehensive change management strategies aligned with their business objectives, including stakeholder analysis, change impact assessments, and communication plans.
Change Readiness Assessment: Conduct assessments to evaluate the organization's readiness for change, identify potential barriers and resistance, and develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure successful adoption.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders at all levels of the client’s organization to build alignment, gain buy-in, and foster a culture of collaboration and support for the change initiative.
Communication and Training: Develop and execute plans to ensure timely and transparent communication about the change, including drafting announcements, org charts, presentations, and other materials. Design and deliver training programs to equip employees at client organizations with the skills and knowledge needed to navigate the change effectively.
Change Implementation Support: Provide ongoing support and guidance to client teams during the implementation phase, including coaching, facilitation, and troubleshooting to address challenges and drive momentum.
Change Measurement and Evaluation: Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of change initiatives. Collect and analyze data to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
Best Practices and Thought Leadership: Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in change management and client industries. Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues and clients through workshops, presentations, and thought leadership articles.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and thought partner. Collaborate with client teams to understand their needs, provide strategic guidance, and deliver high-quality solutions that meet their objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Organizational Psychology, or related field preferred
3-5 years of experience in change management consulting or related roles, with a proven track record of leading successful change initiatives.
Strong understanding of change management methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Analytical mindset, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to inform decision-making and measure the impact of change initiatives.
